VPSA Oxygen Generator (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Generator) realizes the separation of oxygen and nitrogen in the cyclic process of low-pressure adsorption and vacuum desorption through the coordinated work of components such as adsorption towers, vacuum pumps and blowers. Taking air as raw material and relying on the selective adsorption function of molecular sieves, it produces high-purity oxygen. It has the characteristics of low energy consumption, long service life and low operation and maintenance costs, and is the preferred solution for large-scale oxygen supply scenarios.

Transportation Planning and Packaging Requirements
Transporting VPSA Oxygen Generators requires careful planning to protect precision components, as the equipment consists of fragile parts such as adsorption towers, sensors, and control panels. The first step is to select the appropriate transportation method based on the equipment size and distance: for small units (≤50Nm³/h), road transportation via enclosed van trucks is preferred; for large modular systems (≥1000Nm³/h) or long-distance international transportation, sea freight in containers is more cost-effective.
Packaging is critical to prevent damage during transit. For complete units, the equipment is fixed on a steel base frame (with a load-bearing capacity 1.5 times the equipment weight) and wrapped with moisture-proof film and shock-absorbing foam. The adsorption tower, which is the heaviest component (weighing 500-5000kg depending on capacity), is secured with steel brackets at the top and bottom to prevent tilting or collision.
For split-module transportation (common for large systems), each module is packaged separately: the molecular sieve module is sealed with nitrogen (pressure 0.05MPa) to prevent moisture absorption; the control system is placed in a waterproof and shockproof cabinet with foam padding for sensors and touchscreens; the blower and vacuum pump are wrapped with oil-proof film to avoid leakage of lubricating oil. All packages are labeled with "Fragile", "Keep Upright", "No Stacking" and other signs, and the center of gravity is marked to guide handlers.
Transportation Process Control and On-Site Inspection
During road transportation, the speed of the truck should not exceed 60km/h on highways and 30km/h on rural roads to minimize vibration. Avoid sudden acceleration, braking, or sharp turns, as these can cause displacement of internal components. For long-distance transportation (≥500km), stop every 200km to inspect the packaging—check for loose brackets, damaged film, or oil leakage, and make timely adjustments.
For sea freight, the container should be equipped with moisture-proof agents (1-2kg per cubic meter) to prevent corrosion of metal components due to high humidity in the marine environment. The equipment should be fixed to the container floor with bolts to withstand the rolling and pitching of the ship. Before shipment, conduct a pre-transportation inspection: test the tightness of the adsorption tower, calibrate the sensors, and record the initial status of the equipment.
Upon arrival at the destination, conduct a comprehensive on-site inspection before unloading. Check the packaging for damage, the steel frame for deformation, and the seals of the molecular sieve module for air leakage. Use a crane with a lifting capacity 1.2 times the equipment weight for unloading, and avoid lifting the equipment by the pipelines or control panel. After unloading, place the equipment in the pre-prepared installation site and let it stand for 2-4 hours to allow the internal components to stabilize (especially the lubricating oil in the motor) before installation.
